TikTok’s reported enforcement figures include more than half a million video removals in Morocco and thousands of successful appeals.
TikTok says it removed 530,652 videos in Morocco between January and March 2026 for breaches of its community rules, according to Le Desk’s account of the platform’s quarterly enforcement report.
The company reported a 99% proactive removal rate, meaning the content was taken down before users reported it. It also restored 26,835 videos following successful appeals.
Live broadcasts were subject to separate enforcement: TikTok reported interrupting 254,351 streams and banning 55,664 LIVE hosts in Morocco during the quarter.
These figures describe different types of moderation action and should not be added together as a count of affected people. A removed video is not the same as a banned account, and interrupted broadcasts can involve repeat hosts.
The figures are company-reported and were not independently audited by The Morocco Report. They concern TikTok’s platform rules and do not establish that every removed item violated Moroccan law.
